Hi, I’m Amanda, a licensed esthetician and founder of Moonflower Skin Lab in South Austin. I created Moonflower to offer results-driven skincare and body waxing in a space that feels welcoming, comfortable, and completely judgment-free. My three main specialties are corrective skincare for aging skin, acne care, and Brazilian waxing. I believe skincare should be customized to the person in front of me, not built around a one-size-fits-all protocol. Whether your goal is improving fine lines, texture, uneven tone, dryness, congestion, breakouts, or simply maintaining healthy skin as it changes with age, we’ll build your treatments around what your skin actually needs. Facial massage is an integral part of my practice. I combine corrective skincare with intentional facial, neck, and scalp massage techniques to create treatments that are both results-focused and deeply relaxing. Your facial can incorporate professional exfoliation, enzymes, extractions, targeted serums, hydration, masks, LED therapy, dermaplaning, microdermabrasion, and other modalities based on your skin and goals. Acne care is especially important to me. Acne can happen at any stage of life, and I understand how much it can affect confidence. My goal is to provide practical, supportive acne treatments without judgment or unrealistic promises while helping you understand your skin and work toward lasting improvement. I also specialize in Brazilian and full body waxing. I’m trained in Advanced Brazilian Waxing with a focus on efficient technique, client comfort, and helping reduce common concerns like irritation and ingrown hairs. Bodies have hair, skin has texture, and there is absolutely nothing you need to apologize for in my treatment room. My professional training and certifications include Advanced Brazilian Waxing, HydraFacial, Dermaplaning, Microdermabrasion, Advanced Chemical Peels, and Spa Management, along with continued education in professional skincare and advanced esthetic treatments.
